TOY NEWS 12/18/2012 - BANDAI - D-ARTS - ROCKMAN AKA MEGAMAN FIGURE

I might be a little late on this one considering the fact that this figure is due to be out any day now in Japan, but here are a look at the official pics.

On a side note: I have a vivid memory of buying the very first Megaman game at KB Toys after I saw an article on it an issue of Nintendo Power. This was back when Capcom was the undisputed leader of the best graphics and gameplay of the era. It was also 1987, which does not make me old at all. (Let's not discuss my pre-Atari 2600 Pong system that I used to play all the time.)

You can find him imported here in the US for around $45.00

BONUS: This was the box art for the original NES Megaman game. Hooray for 80's Americanizing of Japanese characters!

Even without the awful interpretation of the original Megaman design-- this art is complete shit! Who approved this?? Better yet, whose 8 year old son drew this??
