TOY NEWS FOR 2/9/2013 - THE LOYAL SUBJECTS - TRANSFORMERS G1 3" VINYL FIGURES

I like any Transformers toy that stays true to the original G1 designs, even when they're 3" vinyl figures.

These little super-deformed figure will be coming from a company called The Loyal Subjects which is mainly a small-sized art toy company. They also did a series of GI Joe vinyl figure which were, in my opinion, not nearly as cool looking at these Transformer figures.

Because these are coming from a smaller company with a limited production run, they're going to cost quite a bit more than if they were created by Hasbro. They'll run you $10 each. Pricey yes, but much like $200 is pricey for a 12" figure when you compare Hot Toys to Hasbro, this is a similar situation since these are essentially art toys.
