Wow...
How would you like to buy the two Takara cassettes sets and then get Soundwave and Lasrerbeak for free??? Well, if you waited for this version rather than buying the Takara releases, then that's pretty much what you're going to get because this set will cost an insanely reasonable price of $120!!
The question is: will it be as hard to get as Optimus was? Will we ever see this set at retail without an "inside man" to put one aside for us? Did TRU order enough??

Here's a look at the Toys R Us exclusive Soundwave that will be on shelves next month (July).
He's looking really good! And with the only difference between this version and the original Takara Soundwave being the eye color-- no to mention he comes with all five cassettes-- if you waited for this version, you'll be getting some major bang for your back. Although, oddly enough, to pricing info on this set has been announced yet. I'm still banking on about $160. I guess we'll see how close I am when the actual price is announced.
In the meantime, enjoy the pics! (Which show that the people at Hasbro can't even properly transform their own Transformers toys. Again.)
